Well, another recital done, many more to come! Yesterday was Elaina and Suzanna's dance recital. It was a really nice day! Jake didn't work and he was a really big help. We had the dress rehearsal first in the morning that Jake and the boys came to (and Grumpy and lots of Jake's family). Then the boys went home and got to play with some cousins and let John take a nap. Elaina and Suzanna both were in the first part and both performed so good. They are such good dancers and fun to watch. Then we stayed and watch their cousin dance her 2 dances - she really danced good too. Makenna really wanted to go on stage and dance but she settled for dancing in the aisle. She really would have gone right up and performed for everyone if I would have let her! Then Grandma and Grandpa Martin took us all to get ice cream. It was a really beautiful day!
After the recital and a primary teaching training meeting that we went to, Elaina and Suzanna got what have been waiting for for along time! A haircut! They were so excited and love having short hair! Oh, being a girl!
